Client Case

Preliminary study and implementation of a Nordic HR system for a fast-food chain

Challenges

The client's organisation, employing over 25,000 employees in the Nordic region, faced the challenge of establishing a unified HR structure across the Nordic countries. The goal was to harmonise HR processes, including the implementation of a common support system and the establishment of an integrated HR organisation. This extensive project aimed not only to simplify internal procedures but also to create cohesion among the different countries' practices and cultures.

Methodology

The project began with a feasibility study in which we applied our proven methodology for system selection, focusing on comprehensive requirements and identifying potential system suppliers. During the implementation phase, Centigo took responsibility for designing and implementing processes and system support to digitise the entire employee lifecycle. Another crucial part of Centigo's role was leading the workflows for acceptance testing, integration testing, and critical paths for a successful transition, including communication, training, and change management.

Results

Through a methodical and phased rollout, the implementation was successful. Since November 2023, the system has been fully operational in all Nordic countries. This smooth and carefully planned implementation has earned continued trust in Centigo from the customer. As a result of this successful collaboration, Centigo has been assigned the task of supporting the customer with additional initiatives regarding the digitisation of HR processes for their operations in the Nordic region.
