Development of a new vision and strategy
The client aimed to implement portfolio management and wanted to explore the possibilities of procuring a common system for portfolio and project management to be used by all companies in the group. Centigo delivered with a team of consultants tailored to the project's needs in each phase.
The preliminary study was led by the project manager, with the support of expert advisers and the procurement specialist. It was a significant advantage to have procurement expertise during this phase, both to incorporate the procurement perspective and address complex issues early in the process, and to expedite the procurement work once the preliminary study concluded.
When the preliminary study was completed and the procurement commenced, the procurement specialist led the work with the support of a junior consultant. However, the project manager continued to coordinate the project. After the procurement was concluded, the project manager continued to lead the implementation work.
